Trinidad Short launches a brand new, limited special edition in honour of Chinese New Year. 10 February marks the beginning of Chinese New Year 2024, also known as the Year of the Dragon. In Chinese mythology, the dragon is a symbol of luck, wealth, goodness and intelligence. Cohiba and the Trinidad brand are celebrating this with the release of a unique cedar box containing 66 small cigars. The box has an exceptionally high quality design with a golden dragon emblem engraved on the lacquered surface. Only 21,000 numbered cigars of the Trinidad Short Year of the Dragon Edition are available worldwide. It is only produced in Havana in the exclusive Internacional Cubana de Tabacos cigarillo factory.
nNeben Cohiba und Montecristo Short ist die 2018 lancierte Trinidad Short die einzige weitere bekannte kubanische Marke mit diesem unverwechselbaren, innovativen Stil. Die Stadt La Santisima Trinidad (die Heilige Dreifaltigkeit), die auf das sechzehnte Jahrhundert zurückgeht, ist die Inspiration für den Namen Trinidad. Wie Cohiba besteht die Marke seit 1969 und wurde zunächst in der Hauptfabrik El Laguito nur für ausländische Botschafter hergestellt. Erst 1998 wurde sie dem Einzelhandel zugänglich gemacht.
