Punch is one of the earliest Habanos brands, founded in the mid-nineteenth century with the lucrative British market in mind. The brand's unique medium-bodied cigars are made from a combination of filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo tobacco growing region. In 1931, Punch moved to the "La Corona" cigar factory, where "Hoyo de Monterrey" cigars were also produced.
