Beginning of a passion

Torger Brunken enjoyed his first cigar at the age of 17. He was immediately fascinated and curious to learn more. This key experience marked the beginning of an unbroken passion. By reading relevant literature and attending various cigar seminars, he acquired sound specialist knowledge even back then.

Focus on Cuba

In the early 2000s, Torger Brunken regularly spent many weeks in Spain. Due to the favourable price level and good availability at the time, he concentrated mainly on Cuban brands, for which he meticulously compiled tasting notes. The focus was not only on the cigars, but also on the place, the company and the accompanying drinks - in other words, on all the factors that make up cigar enjoyment.
