Habanos is a cigar brand that was founded in 1882. The company has been producing cigars for over 30 years and is still very successful. All formats are handmade, tripa larga - completely handmade long fillers, made with filler and binder leaves from the Vuelta Abajo tobacco-growing region.
In 1882, after 30 years of cigar production in Antonio Allones' factory, the decision was made to create a new brand of first-class quality and high price.
It was named El Rey del Mundo - The King of the World - with great self-confidence and little modesty and was a great success.
This success can still be found in a limited Habanos line, which is known for its light to medium-bodied flavour and consistency.
